Keen shoppers turned out in their dozens to the new opening of The Food Warehouse in Inverness.
Many queued from the early hours to be in with a chance to get a first look at the store in the Telford Retail Park.
Early birds were also given the chance to be in with some top prizes including free shopping during a 90 second trolley dash.
Carrie Watts (46) was one of the lucky ones to get a winning ticket and she managed to stock up head of Christmas with various goods stuffed into her trolley.
