Taking the scenic route to the national capital from Sydney or the New South Wales south coast will soon have new meaning, as plans progress to land seaplanes on Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin. Industry groups say it’s a much-needed initiative for the under-utilised lake and a tourism sector still recovering from the impacts of lockdowns.
