A two-hour downpour which began at about 5pm on Friday (Nov 11) left many neighbourhoods in Bukit Tengah, Alma, Machang Bubok, Kota Permai and Juru around Bukit Mertajam, Penang flooded. The flood victims urged the authorities to put a stop to the problem that has persisted for the past two decades.
