Rahul Gandhi shared an old picture of his parents Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi and wrote, “Ma, Dadi once told me you were the daughter she never had. How right she was. I'm really proud to be your son.” Gandhi’s post comes as Sonia Gandhi handed over the leadership of the party to Mallikarjun Kharge, the new party President. Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, “So proud of you Ma, no matter what the world says or thinks, I know, you did it all for love.” Priyanka Gandhi shared a picture of her mother holding Rajiv Gandhi’s picture.
