After Russia launched further attacks on the country's energy infrastructure in the west, numerous parts of the war-torn nation of Ukraine reported power outages, according to national energy operator Ukrenergo.
According to Ukrenergo, energy limitations were "forcibly implemented" in a number of areas, including the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and the area around it.
The extent of the destruction is on par with or may even be greater than the effects of the strike on October 10–12
According to Kyiv, Moscow's military launched over 80 missiles against Ukrainian cities on October 10 in apparent retribution for an explosion that destroyed a crucial bridge connecting the Crimean peninsula to Russia.
