Khloe Kardashian Had a , Tumor Removed From Her Face.
NBC News reports that on Oct. 11, Kardashian took to Instagram to share her experience with skin cancer.
After two dermatologists said the bump was "incredibly rare" for someone to have at Kardashian's age of 38, she had a biopsy.
A few days later I was told I need to have an immediate operation to remove a tumor from my face, Khloe Kardashian, via Instagram.
Kardashian enlisted the help of "dear friend" Dr. Garth Fisher to perform the procedure. .
I’m grateful to share that Dr. Fisher was able to get everything — ll my margins appear clear and now we are onto the healing process, Khloe Kardashian, via Instagram.
Kardashian also revealed that while she regularly wears sunscreen, she had another bout with skin cancer at age 19.
In that instance, she had a
melanoma removed from her back.
Kardashian decided to come forward with her health issue to raise awareness for others.
