The Japan Foundation in Manila and the Philippine Nikkei Jin Kai Rengokai recently launched a six-month Nihongo language and cultural course for Nikkeijins or people of Japanese descent in the Philippines.
Over twenty Nikkeijins from across the country were chosen to join the classes.
