On October 11, 2022, Thai monks arranged a mass funeral and cremation ceremony at a Buddhist temple in Na Klang for 19 of the victims killed in a nursery school massacre. A former police officer murdered 36 people, including 24 children, on October 6 in one of the worst mass killings by a lone wolf attacker in Thailand’s recent history. Other victims will be cremated at other temples.
