Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the dissolution of Parliament is the best way to move forward as outgoing prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s position became untenable.

Without naming names, he said this was because Umno’s allies in Ismail Sabri’s government had declared the party and the BN coalition as its “main enemy”.
