The IMD issued a warning on October 04 for intense rainfall and thunderstorm in several districts of Odisha. Today, heavy rainfall lashed Bhubaneswar. As per IMD, the low-pressure area has formed under the influence of west central adjoining north-western Bay of Bengal area. The IMD has predicted an increase in rainfall activities in different parts of Odisha from today.
