Lula vows to fight 'all the way to victory' as Brazil heads for runoff
Brazil's veteran leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who will face far-right incumbent Jair Bolsonaro in the October 30 presidential runoff, vows to continue fighting "until the final victory" after failing to achieve an outright win in the first election round. Afterwards, he addressed his supporters from a balcony on Paulista Avenue in Sao Paulo, and told them that "he will win the election again."
