Congress President Election: कांग्रेस (Congress) अध्यक्ष पद के लिए नामांकन का शुक्रवार को अंतिम दिन रहा. अंतिम दिन कांग्रेस के दिग्गज नेता मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे (Mallikarjun Kharge) और शशि थरूर (Shashi Tharoor) ने नामांकन किया. शशि थरूर अपने समर्थकों के साथ नामांकन करने पहुंचे. कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष पद के नामांकन के बाद शशि थरूर मीडिया से मुखातिब हुए. शशि थरूर ने मल्लिकार्जुन खड़गे को 'भीष्ण पीतामह' (Bhishma Pitamah) भी करार दिया.
