As per the state agency sources, more than 170 Popular Front of India (PFI) members have been detained/arrested from 8 states in a fresh crackdown on PFI by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and other probe agencies.

A lot of important information was received during the interrogation of PFI leaders in the first round of raids, according to the information received from NIA sources.
