'SNL' Announces First 3 Hosts , of Season 48.
The 48th season of 'SNL' is set to premiere on Oct. 1. .
The long-running sketch-comedy show will begin the season with host and actor Miles Teller.
The popular and award-winning actor co-starred in the summer's surprise blockbuster, 'Maverick.' .
The 'Top Gun' sequel has become one of the highest-grossing films of all time.
Next up as host for 'SNL' is actor Brendan Gleeson.
Gleeson can be seen in writer/director
Martin McDonagh's newest film,
'The Banshees of Inisherin.'.
Gleeson is a well-known character actor who recently played former President Donald Trump for Showtime's 'The Comey Rule.'.
He hosts the Oct. 8 episode of 'SNL.'.
Megan Thee Stallion rounds out the
first three hosts of the season.
In her debut as host for the series, she will also perform as musical guest.
Megan Thee Stallion's newest album, 'Traumazine,' dropped on Aug. 12.
'SNL' has been marked by
