Several barricades have been put up at Sumanhalli Flyover as part of the bridge caved in on September 20. The bridge is one of the busiest flyovers which connects Outer Ring Road to National Highway in which over lakhs of vehicles commute every day. The flyover was constructed at a cost of 35 crores by the Bangalore Development Authority in 2010.
