Robert Sarver, the owner of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury,
has been suspended for one year by the NBA after an
investigation uncovered racist and sexist workplace conduct.

said that Sarver will also
be fined $10 million. .
According to a league statement, Sarver will be
barred from all NBA and WNBA buildings,
"including any office, arena, or practice facility.".
The NBA said that he also will not be
allowed to participate in any NBA or WNBA
event or represent the team in any capacity.
Sarver will also be barred from having any involvement
in any team business or basketball operations
or play any role in any league governance.
NBC reports that the investigation was sparked after a November 4th ESPN story revealed long-standing allegations against Sarver.
Those allegations included racism
and misogyny within the
Phoenix basketball operation.

probe, which included interviews of over 320 people.
