This is the hilarious moment a family’s puppy surprise goes totally wrong as their daughter suddenly bursts into disapproving tears at the new addition. Emily Matthews, aged six, immediately started bawling when her father Chris presented her with cute Dachshund puppy ‘Muffin’. The moment wasn’t quite what her parents were expecting, as they had sat Emily and sister Paisley, aged 3, up on the sofa, ready for the grand reveal. Despite Emily's tears, Chris and his wife Carla thought the moment was too cute not to share, seeing the funny side of a childhood tantrum. Carla had always wanted a sausage dog, and so she thought surprising the girls would make for a wholesome video, setting up the moment at their home in Gloucester, U.K., on August 14. During her surprise, Emily also made a throwaway comment she wanted a hamster instead, before she noticed Muffin was taking an interest in her. It was at that point Carla and Chris told Emily that Muffin, in fact, liked her most, and the youngster then started to warm to the pup.
