Tomorrow Indigenous Affairs Minister Linda Burney will hold her first meeting with Aboriginal leaders about how to make progress on closing the gap between Indigenous Australians and the wider community. One area where progress is being made is in getting first nations kids into preschool, with aboriginal community controlled day care centres in particular showing promising results.
