The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on August 19 searched 21 locations, including the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. The raids were connected to CBI's probe into alleged irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy. Following the raid, Sisodia said the CBI was being misused and accused the BJP-led Central government of stalling the good work of the Delhi government. Sisodia added that he would cooperate with the investigation.
