The RMT union has warned that train strikes will continue indefinitely as their members are ‘far’ from having their demands met.

This comes as up to 10,000 tube workers and around 400 Overground workers have walked out today (Friday August 19) causing severe disruptions to Londoners.

Speaking at the picket line at Stratford station in east London on Friday morning, RMT assistant general secretary John Leach, said that they plan to continue strike action till they’ve won.
