London’s Victoria station has flooded amid heavy rain in the capital and an amber “danger to life” storm warning from the Met Office.

Videos shared on social media show people walking through deep pools of water at the station entrance, while the city is drenched in downpours after weeks of dry, hot weather.

TfL workers were shown trying to shut the gates to the station, while flood water poured onto the concourse.

Anthony Bonnici, of London Street Guide, shared a video on Twitter, adding: “Victoria station is flooding.”
