About 5.7 per cent of the country’s senior citizens live alone. With old age, isolation and loneliness are becoming more common among the elderly. Ratan Tata has decided to change this. He is funding a start-up “Goodfellows”, which provides companionship to seniors. The start-up has been founded by Shantanu Naidu who works as general manager in the office of Mr. Tata.
