Congress demands removal of Savarkar’s posters in Udupi; AAP announces free education to Gujarat kids; more

The Savarkar poster controversy has spread across Karnataka. After Shivamogga, now Savarkar’s posters and hoardings have been torn in Tumakuru, close to Bengaluru. State police have imposed prohibitory orders in Shivamogga district. Amid this unrest in Shivamogga, security has been beefed up in Udupi after Congress demanded removal of Savarkar’s posters in the city.

Meanwhile, AAP national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has announced free education for kids if his party wins the elections, ahead of the Gujarat assembly polls. He said AAP govt will open new schools and make existing government schools better.
