According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India recorded 15,815 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the overall number of Covid-related infections in the country to 4,42,39,372. The active COVID-19 cases decreased to 1,19,264, thereby way below the 1.5 lakh mark, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
