China's Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian has told the national press club that the election of the Albanese government has provided an opportunity to reset the relationship between Beijing and Canberra. But the ambassador has given no indication that China will drop its various tariffs or trade blocks on Australian products which includes wine, barley, red meat, and coal.
