Boxer Nikhat Zareen has won the gold medal. Nikhat defeated Carly MC Naul of Northern Ireland 5-0 in the 48-50 kg flyweight final. This is the third gold medal of the Indian team in boxing. Also, this was India's 17th gold medal overall. India has now reached the fourth position in the medal tally after Nikhat Zareen won gold in boxing. Watch this video.
