The Delhi Police on Friday detained Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders for staging a protest outside Parliament. Party workers led by interim president Sonia Gandhi were holding a protest against inflation and unemployment in the country.

A nationwide protest by Congress workers broke out on Friday after Rahul Gandhi made the call for protest during a press conference earlier in the day.
