Women across Yorkshire have been inspired to start playing football thanks to the record-breaker, history-maker, game changer Lionesses. One of the new teams which has emerged as a result is Featherstone Ladies Academical who began this summer and celebrated the Lionesses historic win together in a pub in Pontefract while other members of the team managed to get tickets to Wembley.


Others celebrated at home or on holiday in the caravan as Great British Bake Off star Karen Wright did.
