Referring to the Enforcement Directorate’s action on Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, Rajya Sabha LoP and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge on August 01 said that BJP wants ‘Opposition-mukt’ Parliament and that is why ED has initiated action against Sanjay Raut.

Speaking to ANI, Kharge said, “BJP wants an 'Opposition-mukt' Parliament, that is why there is an action against Sanjay Raut. We will raise issues of inflation, and Gujarat hooch tragedy in Parliament. 'Op Keechad' by them (BJP) in Jharkhand will also be raised today.”
