The Government of West Bengal on July 28 relieved Partha Chatterjee, accused in the West Bengal SSC recruitment scam, of his duties as Minister in Charge of his Departments. Earlier, Union Minister Meenakshi Lekhi of the Bharatiya Janata Party questioned Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress over its silence on the School Service Commission Corruption Row.
