Nine days after the death of a Class 12 girl in a private school in Kallakurichi, her parents have finally agreed to receive her body and perform the last rites.

Recording the submissions made by advocate R Shankara Subbu representing the parents, Madras High Court judge Justice N Sathish Kumar directed them to receive the body before 7 am on Saturday and complete the last rites before 6 pm.
