Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 296 km four-lane Bundelkhand Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on July 16. PM Modi hit out at previous governments in the state for not doing enough to improve connectivity and economic growth in the region. The expressway which has been built at a cost of Rs 14,850 crore, will connect Chitrakoot with the Lucknow-Agra Expressway near Etawah.
