Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stones and inaugurate several development projects, including Deoghar airport, with a total value of over Rs 16,800 crore on Tuesday.

Modi was given a rousing welcome by many, including Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on arrival to the state.

Deoghar airport will be connected to Patna, Delhi and Ranchi in the coming days. PM Modi, on May 25, 2018, laid the foundation stone of the airport.
