Heavy rainfall and strong winds led to at least 10 roofs being blown off in the Mayaro area on Sunday.

Some of the homes were so badly damaged, tarpaulins could not be fastened onto the remaining structures.

In every case, the affected families had to find alternative places to sleep last night.
