Two complaints have been lodged by the BJP against TMC's Mahua Mitra for "insulting" goddess Kali. While the first complaint was lodged by BJP workers in the morning, the second complaint was lodged by Bengal BJP leader Rajarshi Lahiri Rabindra Sarobar police station.

Meanwhile, BJP workers have gathered at Bowbazar police station, demanding the immediate arrest of Mahua Moitra for her controversial comment.

Mahua Moitra sparked controversy with her remarks on the goddess Kali. The BJP has demanded her immediate arrest and suspension from the party.
