New CM of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde has passed the floor test, he has gained the confidence of the House. 164 MLAs voted in favor of Eknath Shinde. However, after winning yesterday's Speaker election there was no doubt that Shinde will have enough confidence votes. Shinde government is now safe.
