The bride-to-be had the following to share when asked to explain how this beautiful surprise went down: Casey had this proposal planned for months We had already planned a vacation for us to travel around Italy once he returned from his deployment in Afghanistan But little did I know that instead of us staying in Venice Italy for the last four days of our trip he had already booked flights to Paris France and made dinner reservations at Jules Verne for us to end our trip

She continued: He made sure to keep throwing me off by saying that he didnt want me to get my hopes up by expecting a surprise proposal and that he just wanted to surprise me with a trip to Paris I kept reassuring him that I wasnt expecting a proposal because this was supposed to be a trip for us to enjoy being together again

Caroline added: Cut to dinner - Once the final course was being brought to me on the tray I was expecting dessert and it turned out to be a ring It took me some time to realize that the ring was for me and of course I said YES
