Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has asked the state government to give details of the files and proposals cleared between June 22-24. The direction comes amid allegations that following rebellion by the Shiv Sena MLAs, a number of files were cleared and government resolutions (GRs) issued in a hurry in Mantralaya.
In a letter to Koshyari earlier, Pravin Darekar, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, said, "Some 160 government resolutions were issued by the MVA in the last 48 hours, which look suspicious. I request you to intervene in this matter and put a curb on it."
