Amid the ongoing political crisis in Maharashtra, the police has imposed Section 144 in the capital city, Mumbai. Earlier, Section 144 was imposed in rebel leader Eknath Shinde's stronghold, Thane. Meanwhile, a key national executive meeting of Shiv Sena is taking place at Sena Bhavan today. According to reports, action will be taken against the rebel MLAs, including leader Eknath Shinde.
