On June 20 afternoon, 11 people were stranded in a cable car for more than three hours in Parwanoo, Himachal Pradesh. The cable car had stopped midway. All the 11 tourists onboard were rescued. A NDRF team helped in the rescue operation. Virendra Sharma, Solan district police chief told NDTV that a rescue trolley was deployed on the cable to get the passengers out.
