The rift rocking Kenya Kwanza in Kiambu county was evident after Chama cha Kazi party leader Moses Kuria and Tujibebe Wakenyas' William Kabogo gave Deputy President William Ruto's Kiambu rally a wide berth. This came days after the leaders clashed with UDA gubernatorial candidate Kimani Wamatangi and Ruto's running mate Rigathi Gachagua. The leaders who addressed a rally stayed clear of the issue but instead championed their bottom-up economic model.
