"Rahul Gandhi's first day of ED questioning ended late at night. The Congress leader accused in the National Herald Money laundering case was questioned for about 10 hours in ED's Delhi office. The Agency has asked Rahul Gandhi to appear before it for the second day today.
Ahead of his appearance, Rahul Gandhi reached Congress headquarters. Senior leaders of the party who are now gathered in Delhi showed solidarity with Gandhi.
Yesterday, sporadic protests were staged by Congress leaders and workers across the country. In Delhi, the Congress workers hit the streets Since morning. Posters were placed hailing Rahul Gandhi and expressing solidarity. Delhi Police too had deployed heavy security and diverted the traffic. Section 144 was imposed around the Congress Headquarters.
Several leaders and workers of the congress were detained, some were even placed under House arrest.
