Thanks to a determined skater this rabbit got to live another day

This heartwarming video shows the skater in Santa Margarita California befriend and then rescue a rabbit stuck in a skatepark bowl

Marc Valdivieiso arrived at his local skatepark on September 15th and was surprised to find the bunny hopping around at the bottom of the bowl apparently unable to escape

Valdivieso tried several times to catch the rabbit but it kept hopping away in fright

The skater decided to play a waiting game to gradually gain the confidence of the terrified mammal

Eventually the bunny did hop over to Valdivieso and he was even able to stroke it several times before carefully lifting it out of the bowl to freedom
