Health watchdog is investigating claims of neglect at the Mackay Base Hospital in North Queensland which family members say have traumatised a 71-year-old woman. The Ombudsman is exploring claims the woman who was being treated for COVID wasn't given enough food or water and had to crawl through her own blood adn faeces to call for help after she fainted on the way to the bathroom.
