"Modi govt is firefighting a full-blown diplomatic crisis sparked due to his party's national spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Although Sharma has been now suspended from the party, the shame and condemnation pouring from across the Islamic World haven't stopped. Initially, four nations summoned Indian Envoys and condemned Sharma's remarks allegedly against Prophet Muhammed. The list however continues to grow. In the last 48 hours, a total of 15 countries have condemned the remarks against Prophet Muhammed as the blowback grew across the world. Indian products are being taken off shelves in several Islamic countries.

A few days ago a video of External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar went viral. in this video, S jaishankar was slamming Europe and calling out its hypocrisy over India Buying russian Oil. He said ""Europe Considers Its problem are world problem but World's problems are not Europe's problems"". A few days later, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, The Indian Ambassadors have to explain the statement made by ruling party functionary. And also declaring that they are fringe elements. Even smaller nations like Maldives, Indonesia have condemned ruling BJP's former spokesperson. Even Taliban is today sermonising India.
The significant backlash however is from West Asia, the middle east and Gulf countries.
