Russia struck a tank containing nitric acid at a chemical plant in Severodonetsk, Ukraine. Sergiy Gaiday, governor of the Lugansk region said on Telegram that an air strike by Moscow forces \"hit a tank with nitric acid at a chemical plant\". As reported by AFP, Gaiday asked the remaining residents in the city to \"prepare protective face masks impregnated with soda solution.” On May 31, Ukrainian officials said that Russian forces now control half of Severodonetsk, a key goal for the Russian army, reported AFP.
