On the occasion of Buddha Purnima on May 16, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at Mahamaya Devi Mandir in Lumbini district of Nepal. He was accompanied by Nepalese Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his wife. He is on a day visit to Nepal.
