Views 43

Ripley’s Aquarium is an 85,000 square foot, multilevel collection of wonders of the sea. From the large tanks to small tanks, their exhibits are interactive, educational, and fun for the whole family. In addition to their year-round sea life exhibits, they have seasonal and traveling exhibits so that each time you visit you can experience something new.

Start your adventure right when you enter at the Entrance Tank, a perfect time for a photo op at this tubular tank. Move down the sloped ramp to see the tropical Rio Amazon exhibit full of piranhas, the giant Arapaima fish, poison dart frogs, and more.

Next, check-out Discovery Center, a shallow pool with touch friendly horseshoe crabs, sea urchins and star fish. Take the glidepath through the largest exhibit at Ripley’s Aquarium, the Dangerous Reef. Step on the glidepath and ride through the tunnel where large sharks, sea turtles, fish, and eels swim above and beside you. Fear not! There are 4.5 inches of acrylic glass between you and the marine animals.

Stand in awe of the wonders of Rainbow Rock, a coral reef teeming with colorful, tropical fish. Take in the ethereal sights of the Living Gallery, seahorses, sea dragons, octopi, and jellyfish lazily float along in their glass cubes and bubble shape tanks.

At Ray Bay, you can watch over 100 rays being fed and interacting with the divers during several daily shows. Saturdays and Sundays watch a live mermaid show three times daily where the mermaids swim among the ray. Then head upstairs where you can interact with the rays by petting them as they swim in a shallow pool!

The Ocean Wonders gallery houses a world-class penguin habitat, with floor-to-ceiling viewing glass more than 50 feet long and a 360-degree crawl tunnel for guests to waddle through. Make a stop and view the penguin nursery, which houses and cares for baby penguins!

The aquarium also offers exciting experiences such as Diving with Sharks, the Stingray Experience, Behind-the-Scenes Tour, Sleep with the Sharks, Glass Bottom Boat Adventure, Birthday Parties, Camps, Live Shows, and more!
