A Ukrainian mom named Halyna got to hug her police officer son Andrey for the first time in 74 days—on Mother’s Day—in a village near Kharkiv.

The National Police of Ukraine shared the video in a Facebook post, writing: ‘Symbolically, this happened exactly on Mother’s Day. Thank you to all the defenders who are defending Ukraine. It is thanks to you that Ukrainians return to their homes every day.’
