As Cyclone Asani inches close, the Director of India Meteorological Department, Bhubaneswar informed that the cyclone will weaken into a cyclonic storm during the next 24 hours.
“Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rainfall warning for next 24 hours for Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri districts. Fishermen advised not to venture into sea along and off Odisha coast till May 13,” said HR Biswas, Director, IMD Bhubaneswar.
